Los Gatos Youth Theatre (LGYT) was founded in June of 2009, by
Blossom Hill teacher, Brian Houg. The purpose of the organization is
to give children of Los Gatos and the surrounding communities their
own theater opportunity. LGYT serves children ages 7-14.
The first production was Willy Wonka, Jr, performed in August 2009.
In the summer of 2010 LGYT produced two plays, Aristocrats, Kids
for the younger ages, 7-10 years and Guys and Dolls, Jr, for older
children (10-13). This summer (2011) LGYT will perform Jungle
Book, Kids for ages 7-10 and Grease, School Edition for kids
11-14. In addition, we are proud to announce a 3-week day camp
that will perform Schoolhouse Rock, Jr.
